Wine Tasting in Sonoma

Saturday, July 21st, 2007
10:00am
Please join the Steering Committee and fellow Northern California Alumni & Friends
for a day in the vineyards of Sonoma Valley.
We will meet at the Unti Vineyards (
www.Untivineyards.com ) known for its Rhone and Italian
varietals. It is one of the highly recommended family owned
wineries. They have waived the tasting fee for us here.
By noon we'll be heading to our next stop. Forchini Winery (www.forchini.com).
A Dry Creek landmark winery known for its many red wines made
from century old vines. Tasting cost $5 but you get it back when
you buy a bottle. A great place to pack lunch and picnic with
that bottle of wine you bought.
By 2:30pm we'll be at our last stop, Bella Vineyards and Wine
Caves. Bella (
www.bellawinery.com) is known for its Zinfandels and its
caves. This should be an excellent ending to the wine tasting.
If interested, please contact the event coordinator to
discuss details regarding transportation and food.
